My Story

My decision to become a wealth advisor was shaped by personal experience. When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I saw firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families when a loved one is no longer able to manage the finances they once handled with confidence. That experience made it clear how important thoughtful planning, organization, and compassionate guidance are, especially during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Today, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families feel prepared, supported and confident about their financial future. I take a holistic approach to financial advice, beginning with a deep understanding of each client’s unique situation and what matters most to them. From there, I help identify gaps and opportunities and build personalized strategies to support goals such as retirement planning, education savings, preparing for the unexpected, and protecting loved ones.

Before transitioning into wealth management, I spent 27 years in accounting and financial analysis, most of them as a CPA working in internal audit and compliance. That background gives me a strong foundation in detailed analysis, risk awareness, and disciplined planning; skills which I now apply to helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and care.

I am a native Houstonian with deep roots in the community. My paternal grandfather was a pharmacist and small business owner who co-owned Lamar Drug Company in downtown Houston, and my father, after serving in the Air Force, built and owned his own dental practice in Houston, where he practiced for 54 years. My mother pursued a different path as a professional artist, with her works represented in galleries across several states. Their examples of entrepreneurship, service, and creativity have each shaped my perspective in meaningful ways.

I am a graduate of Second Baptist High School and Texas Christian University, where I earned a BBA in Accounting. I belong to the Junior League of Houston, volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and enjoy fellowship with friends in Community Bible Study and my high school, university, and sorority alumni groups.

My immediate family is in Houston. I enjoy grilling for them whenever I get the chance, and my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gracie, always loves the company.
